Whitianga Marina

Easy access to a beautiful marina that is literally right in town. The marina is located within a short walk of a supermarket, banks, shopping centre, visitor information centre, cafes/restaurants and taverns.

It has 191 berths ranging in size from 10 to 18 metres, with a travel lift and hard stand facilities available for public use.

Whitianga Waterways

Whitianga Waterways was conceived following consultation with local community and Council by arguably New Zealand’s most experienced and reputable coastal development company, Hopper Developments Ltd, in partnership with local land owners. When complete, Waterways will comprise in excess of 1500 new households.

  NZ Coastguard

As the primary maritime search and rescue service, Coastguard NZ is there to make New Zealand’s waterways a safer place for boaties. There are 68 Coastguard units located across the country and is made up of more than 2,500 dedicated active volunteers.
